Piwakawaka are small native, very busy birds that flit from branch to branch looking for insects and will follow you around the garden or on a bush walk hoping to catch moths, flies, spiders etc that you disturb.
They have a life cycle of approximately 3 years and lay eggs up to 5 times per year.
